Desire Vs. Destiny

You are what your driving desire is!!
As your desire is, So is your will!
As your will is, So is your deed!
As your deed is, So is your destiny!
-Brihadaranyaka Upanishad IV.5

Mission

The primary mission of this web site is to promote learning, nurture leadership, and advocate principled behavior.
Learning

“We are not what we know but what we are willing to learn.”
                  — Mary Catherine Bateson

Learning is not just the process of mastering new information through books or classrooms. It involves developing a perennial thirst to seek knowledge as a way of life. It involves making a passionate effort to break new ground everyday in getting outside the box we have around ourselves.

We must never forget, “When you are green, you keep growing and when you are ripe, you begin rotting“ - Anonymous.

Leadership

“A leader is one who breaks new paths into unfamiliar territory”
-Unknown

In essence, leadership involves seeing something before your team and making them see what you see. You don't need power to be a leader, all you need is concern, committment  and communication. If you keep learning with an open mind, willing to change, take risks and be concerned and committed to your team, you can be a natural leader.

Principled Behavior and Personal Ethics

“True religion is real living; living with all one's soul, with all one's goodness and righteousness”
            — Albert Einstein

The principles you adhere to, reflect in the quality of your work to your stakeholders (at home or work). The path to your achievements could be paved with many stumbling blocks and may travel in more than one direction. Along the way, one may have to confront doubts, setbacks, and unfairness. However, they should be conquered with faith and unflinchingly following fair principles and personal ethics.

Ethics is neither the law of the land nor religious commandments. It involves defining your values and following them with determination, even while facing challenges. Today's engineers, technologists and managers need to be consciously aware of their ethics and must be compliant with it in all their work, at all times
